I think casting news like this would be viewed in the same light as Agent Carter casting news. 

35302: A spin-off of Drew Goddard's 'Cloverfield' film is coming soon.

This seems to be a bit outside our coverage of Whedon-related shows and films. If Drew is involved then that would be a different matter but he doesn't seem to be.
