This and other articles doing the rounds (on Zap2it, io9 etc) are actually PopMatters essays from last year published in a book to tie with Joss' current high profile.

Added to the entry below. It's going to be a busy few days and similar entries will get merged so the front page doesn't totally changed every few hours.

While I think this is an important discussion to have I'm not convinced this site is the venue for it.

I expect there will be several appearances and noting them here on the day of would be more useful.

We're not really in the business of promoting fan made t-shirts for one-day sales.

As said previously, we're winding down our reviews of the movie and focussing on what our posters think.

We're covering other people's responses to the film less at this point and focusing on our own reactions in a series of spoilertastic threads (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3). People are welcome to link to interesting reactions on other sites from the comments there.

It's not news. Everybody already knows Bad Horse is the secret bad guy. Worst kept secret casting EVER.

It's nice that he liked it but it gets a peripheral mention. We've had a lot of Cabin review posts already recently and this doesn't really add anything new.

Casting news only gets a front page mention if it's in regards to a specific Whedonverse actor getting a role.

No more links from TV Breakroom please. It's starting to turn into spam.

This is actually from three years ago and was covered in several posts at the time.

It's a interesting article but it would need to have some more Whedonverse references to make it relevant for the front page. As at the minute, it's just an article about "mommy porn".

As said before, we're kinda done for reviews for a few days. At the minute we're focussing on what people actually think of the movie in our discussion threads.

In these news-heavy times a blog post that doesn't really add anything new to ongoing discussions is just not substantial enough to stay.

Since the front page is pretty busy with interviews at the moment I combined the two New York Times pieces into a single post.
