Why was my post deleted?: August 2009

Hate to say but unless it's an HD premiere or something equally unique, airings of Serenity on film channels etc isn't quite front page news anymore.

One Buffy mention does not make a summer (or it was a bit then for a front page entry).

As said before, we're taking some time out from the seemingly endless io9 vs polls that are getting posted at Whedonesque.

This just summarizes recent casting news and prompts a discussion about casting that's already ongoing in a few threads.

The entry has been temporarily withdrawn until certain aspects get clarified. If you are the author of the entry, an email has been sent to the email address mentioned in your profile.

I think we're done with these I09 vs polls for the time being. Especially as there's already one on the front page.

We would really need a link to where the info is actually online. Perhaps this could be reposted when the relevant book goes on sale on the 4th of September at Georges' site?

This is neat but thin for the front page. We're being more selective about coverage now that the Guild fever has run its course and generated a lot of posts the past couple of weeks.

Rather we didnt't link to a fan's photo gallery where you have to sign up to view.

Merged with the preceding Guild item to save space on the front page.

Obama elected President! England win the Ashes! Nope - not really seeing anything new in this post.

We really don't do general offers like this. It would have to be something like $5 off a specific Whedon related item.

Firefly has been on Hulu for a while now so it's not really front page news.

A movie that's been out for 4 years airing into only certain parts of a country isn't quite front page news.

Oswalt's great, but I think we over-extend in featuring news stories on the front page about actors who were one-off guest-stars in Whedon shows

It's nice but it doesn't quite have that zing factor that a music video would need for a front page entry.

One we already have a hefty Avatar discussion going on the front page, two these links are really not saying anything new.

Pretty light for a front entry and it's been deleted already.

Let's wait and see what coverage (hopefully with more content) this gets. A link from EW is very nice but so far it's really just a link.

It's an admirable thing that he's doing but a Tweet like this is really not that relevant for the front page.

The interview would really have to be with David to make it relevant for the front page.
